Studio B Interiors
Full Service Interior Design Studio located in Howard County, MD servicing the DMV and beyond. We have chosen the grayish-blue color typically seen in Chalcedony to be a symbol of our defining character and vision. Similar to how Chalcedony is composed of inter-growths of quartz and moganite, two different structures, Studio B intertwines the everyday lives and personalities of our clients with beautiful, yet functional curated spaces.

Initial Consultation
Learn the overall scope of the project. Listen to their requests and priorities. Appreciate the way they live and function throughout their daily life. Understand the clients style and aesthetic. Dream about the future. Discuss how to make this vision come to life.

Conceptual Design Process
The Designer will gather: Inspiration, Materials, Finishes, Textiles. This rough draft represents raw, semi-filtered ideas, that reveal the designer’s initial take on what the vision for the home can be. The designer will deliver a visual story board which allows us to experiment and refine the clients vision. This is the first step of the artistic development.

Design Development & Procurement
Build the Design Package: Floor Plans, Elevations, Cabinetry Concepts, Lighting selections, Interior Furnishing selections, Interior Fixture selections (plumbing/appliances), Paint schedule. This design development and procurement happens in tandem...

Design Presentation
…with the Design Presentation. In person experience to review the details and hand picked selections that will encompass your home. Carefully curated vision of the future. No spaces are overlooked. Your first feeling of warmth as the home begins to form. Sometimes multiple design presentations can occur given the scope of the project.

Proposal & Design Managment
Designer delivers proposal document to client with all items which were reviewed, discussed, and approved. Client confirms and submits payment once proposal is accepted. Designer begins the ordering process using proposal as a ledger. Designer works intimately to ensure all vendors, workrooms, or millwork shops are on schedule and deliver an exceptional product. Typically all items are shipped to your warehouse, which will receive and inspect all product. Items are typically stored there until the project is ready to be installed.

Final Installation
In close coordination with all teams (builders, contractors, vendors, etc.) the house gets fully installed allowing the designer to initiate the Grand Reveal. The clients walk step by step through their home and witness the multiple layers, beautiful accessories, and final touches that have been thoughtfully designed and selected to make the house their home. The client will receive the final invoice post installation that captures any outstanding or miscellaneous freight charges, storage/warehouse fees, and/or any miscellaneous final touches that were discussed and approved with the client in the final steps.
